Hi there, my name is Teagan. I am 5 years old and i am 3ft 4. I have 2 sisters called Rhea who is 10 and Matilda who is 7. I have younger twin brothers called Freddie and Max who are 3.
When i was 2 i began to get very tired and a lump appeared on my belly. When i went to the hospital they said i had a tumor. For 3 years i had the tumor and it never went away, but i still played lots of games and did lots of clubs.
I went to Rainbow Guides and played lots of games and made lots of things. I went swimming and loved to run around. Gymnastics was my favourite night and if we were good we could jump into the sponge pit.
The doctors said i had a few months to live when i was 2 but i proved them wrong, then when the tumor got bigger they said it was a waiting game and i lived another year until the time where they said i had at the most 2 weeks.....i proved them wrong and lived until the middle of August.
My best friend Briea died just before i got worse this summer and i read at her funeral. I also sung a song and everybody started crying. I'm now in heaven with my friend Briea and all the pain has gone away.
Here are some of things that were said at my own funeral from all the kind people....
Matilda (sister age 7)- '..sometimes we would bake, for ours we would spend in the kitchen because we kept eating the icing sugar and so had to make more...'
Allys (school friend) '..she was always smiling and bubbly, always knew how to make a good game out of a bad one...'
Rhea (sister age 10)- '..when we first heard it was terminal, i had bad dreams. I couldnt believe my baby sister would have no more good days. And thats just what it was. There were no more good days. Well thats what i though until she began to cope and then there were great days, days she would cry her heart out and days where time dragged on. But every day was a painful day, everyday was a bonus because we all knew no matter how many good days she had- they all had to end at some time...'
